NaNo Tips & Strategies
Character and Plot Realism Q&A
Could a dog accidentally hotwire a go-kart? How much does a Singapore Sling cost in Malaysia? How might a murderous beautician immobilize her clients using only hair-care products? And how many bats can you fit in a breadbox? You have a question. Someone out there has an answer.

NaNoWriMo, Etc.
Rules, Regulations, and Other Minutiae
Do interrelated short stories constitute a novel? If my main character is just me with a different name, does that count as fiction? How can I claim to have written a novel in a month if I hit 50,000 words and am only halfway through? Shouldn't this be called National Novella Writing Month? And why is it called "national" if people are doing this all over the world? The place where the detail-oriented gather to ponder the fine print.

Literary Fiction
Sure, grappling with complex personal and societal issues isn't the most marketable move. And no, we don't always have the tightest plots. But we sure know how to throw a party.

NaNoWriMo Alumni Lounge
The place for returning Wrimos to swap tales of their off-season literary exploits, and bring everyone up to date on the state of their previous NaNo manuscripts. Anyone publish? Perish? Also: Every year of NaNoWriMo opens up new worlds of writerly possibility and pain. Year Two tends to be the hardest for most Wrimos. Anyone scared of the sophomore smack-down? Or have advice for sailing through it?
